Charlton Heston on a camel?

Cinepod's Roger Garcia explains it all in his report from the Berlin International Film Festival where he's been watching pristine 70mm prints of classic films such as Khartoum and Cleopatra, but also checking out the "old" and the "new".

He takes a look at "old" Fifth Generation director Chen Kaige's Forever Enthralled a biopic of famous Chinese opera star Meilan Fang who achieved iconic stardom through his skill in portraying delicate heroines in a series of traditional operas.

For the "new," Roger is impressed by some of the films coming out of Taiwan such as Cheng Yu-chieh's second feature film Yang Yang starring the luminous half-Taiwan/half-French star, Sandrine Pinna.
