FLOODING IN THE TIME OF DROUGHT by Sherman Ong is one of Bee Thiam's first productions from his independent label 13 Little Pictures.

In Singapore, Roger Garcia talks to Tan Bee Thiam about founding the Asian Film Archive - now home to Cathay's classic film library from the 1950s and 1960, and the works of major Filipino filmmaker Mike de Leon. Bee Thiam talks about the challenges of preservation and the Archive's educational program. Bee Thiam also talks about his new venture, 13 Little Pictures, which produces independent films by Asian filmmakers including Sherman Ong (FLOODING IN THE TIME OF DROUGHT) and Liao Jiekai (RED DRAGONFLIES).
